Who requires this qualification?
Along with the Emergency First Aid at Work course this course must be completed every three years before renewing your SIA Licence. It is designed for learners who currently hold a licence from the Security Industry Authority (SIA) to work as a door supervisor and need to be brought up to date with the new licence-linked qualification requirements.
What does the qualification cover?
The qualification is divided into 3 units.

1) Principles of Working as a Door Supervisor in the Private Security Industry (Refresher).
2) Physical Intervention Skills in the Private Security Industry (Refresher).

How are you assessed?
This qualification is assessed by practical assessments and multiple-choice examinations.
Do I need a valid First Aid qualification before starting the course?
Yes, all learners must hold a valid First Aid certificate which has a minimum of 12 months before expiry from date of course.
